Baby Puppy in Show ASCVic Champ Show 2005 - Judge Mr B Meyer (USA) Baby Junior in Show Aust Shep Assoc of NSW 2006 - Judge Mr J Birch (NSW)
Rush is our keeper from our first 'imported in dam' litter. He is a substantial flashy male with a sweet fun attitude to life. He is a combination of two incredibly prepotent and successful sire lines, both having sired Herding Group and Best In Show winners at AKC All Breed shows!
His mother, Tilley, completed her AKC Championship at 13 months of age, and her ASCA Championship 4 months later with 3 5pt majors including one from Mr. Joseph Hartnagle, and is a multi BOB & BOS winner (from the classes) and a group placer!
She continued in a similar vein in Australia acheiving her Australian Championship with ease and was most notably successful in the specialty arena with Reserve Challenge Bitch under Specialist Breeder Judge Mrs Sheila Polk of Tri-Ivory Kennels (USA) in November 2008 and Challenge Bitch / Best Opposite Sex in Show under Mrs L Bett (Canada) in June 2009, both wins beating over 60 Aussies.
Bronson (his father) is a HOF sire, very close to his WTCH, was ASCA’s #1 Conformation dog for the ‘98-99’ show year, WD, BOW at 1yr of age at the 1996 ASCA Nat'ls and first in the Stud Dog class at the 2002 ASCA Nat'ls. He is a MBISS and Premier award winner and was 3rd in Most Versatile Aussie at the 2004 USASA Nat'ls. Bronson's kids have had phenomenal success at National level, with several BISS, BOSS winners as well as AOM & Premier winners, class winners and placers. He is the sire of the '03-04' #1 Aussie in the USA, and has a SVCH WTCH daughter to boot.
'Int'l/ASCA/AKC Ch McMatt's EZ Going OA NAJ ROM' AKA Cruiser (Tilley's sire) is one of the breeds top stud dogs , whose specials career includes 72 Best of Breeds, 16 Group 1’s, 8 Group 2’s, 10 Group 3’s, 6 Group 4’s and an OAM at the 2005 USASA Nationals. He won the Stud Dog class at the 2003, 2004 and 2005 USASA Nationals with offspring from different dams and his children have also been incredibly successful at Nationals level, picking up Winners Dog, BOBP, BOSP, Best in Sweepstakes and many class wins and placements. Cruiser was the Top Producing Aussie for 2004 (AKC) producing the most champion get in the USA.
Rush’s half sister, Am/Aust Ch McMatt's Simply Breathless, out of Tilley, was Best In Sweepstakes Puppy at the 2005 USASA National Specialty over 89 puppies, owner/handled by Rebecca McDaniel.
Rush made his show ring debut 2 days after turning 3 months of age and did it in style winning Baby Puppy in Show against older untailed puppies under an American judge! If only more judges were as accepting of tails.
He has proven his worth as a sire in his own right with an export from his first litter and a stunning black girl being shown from his second under the Jedabun prefix. Look for puppies from his third litter to debut in the new year.
